Turnitin program is an academic plagiarism checking program from online sources comparing and examining the duplicate text of the desired academic work to others’ academic work that are available online from various sources in both Turnitin's archives and various information on the internet.
Terms of Service
- Librarians in the central library of Burapha University are responsible for supervising the use, and creating Class ID and Class Enrollment Key for users so that the users can request them for plagiarism self-check.
- The users who can request for Class ID and Class Enrollment must be instructors/ staff /students of Burapha University only
- The users are required to use university’s email only. (@go.buu.ac.th) in order to register for accessing to Turnitin program
- Here are the right to use Turnitin program subscribed by Burapha University Library: Student Student (reviewee) 100 accounts InstructorInstructor (reviewer) The library does not grant the right to use “Instructor” due to the limited number of users. Therefore, only library can set the class for the users. Admin Admin (System Administrator) The library assigns a librarian to be the administrator.
- Criteria for considering the results from Turnitin program In the case of thesis, independent study, dissertation, academic article or assignment, the results from Turnitin plagiarism checking depend on advisor or instructor.
How to use Turnitin to check plagiarism manually
- How to use Turnitin to check plagiarism manually ***If reviewers don’t have university’s e-mail, please see the details how to use the university’s e-mail at the computer center’s website, https://ict.buu.ac.th, then click “Email” menu.
- Contact the library to request for Class ID and Enrollment Key via the Library’s Line Official (ID Line : @buulibrary) by informing the following information. 2.1 Name-Surname 2.2 Student ID or personnel ID 2.3 Faculty 2.4 Educational level (bachelor’s degree, graduate studies) or position (In the case of an instructor or personnel)
- How to apply for Turnitin program 3.1 Enter the website, https://www.turnitin.com/ 3.2 Select “Create Account” as ‘Student” 3.3 Class ID and Class Enrollment Key is used for filling in the application details

**** Class ID and Class Enrollment Key codes have an expiration date. Therefore, users have to request for new codes via Line Official when it expires.
